My Puppy

And yes he is cute.


Well when we brought him home he threw up on my mom, so I...




                                                         Got to hold him while he slept,
                                                         for about a half hour.

             

Well as you can imagine we fought over him for at least a week, if not more. But sadly he grew a little since we got him, and he's been getting a little more restless (and by that I mean more... well bitey) But he is our favorite puppy in the world! Well my favorite anyway.






Oh and P.S. And don't worry about his pink eye, he was born like that.

My Dad

This is my dad, (and Noah I couldn't get a picture of just dad) he is the best earthly dad in the whole world. My dad is really smart, really funny, and he loves sports. If I had a different dad I would not be here, but I do have my dad and I'm happy!

My Brothers

My brothers are the best brothers in the world!  First there is Judah, he is the smallest of all of us, the cutest, (don't tell him I said that) and the chubbiest.

 Then there is Silas, he is in the middle with me, he's the one that I really play with the most.

 Last but not least there is Noah, he is the oldest and the smartest, not to mention that he has the biggest stomach, and yet he's still the skinniest! 

My Mom

This is my mom. She is the most creative woman that I know. She is also smart, funny, a great cook, a fast reader, a great singer, and she home schools me and my brothers. If she didn't homeschool us than we would be in public school, and I hate public school, I've been there. I just think that my mom is the best mom in the world!

My Favorite Ride At Disney

I had an awesome time Disney World and I had a lot of favorite rides. The main three rides that I loved in Disney were the Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster at Hollywood Studios, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, and Space Mountain at Epcot. All of these rides blew my mind, each in a unique way. My favorite ride in Disney World was the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. I would ride the Rock n ‘n’ Roller a thousand times if I had a choice to go back to Disney World. The main things that I love about the Rock ‘n’          Roller coaster are that it’s in the dark so the only thing you can see are the glow in the dark signs, it goes upside down so it feels like your flying, and it goes super speedy fast so it’s like all of the signs are a blurry nothing.

My second favorite ride in Disney was Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom. At first when I got on I was scared to death. At the first hill I was crying so bad that my throat hurt a little bit. In the middle of the ride we saw broken tracks. And then later on we saw the shadow of the Yeti, and I screamed my little                           heart out so loud that everyone on the ride could hear me. But after the ride, I loved it!  

My third favorite ride in Disney was Space Mountain in Epcot. It went down, than in circles, than down again, and that went on for the entire ride. All you could see in the ride were a bunch of glowing stars and moons. Another thing that I liked about Space Mountain was that the cars are in the form of a space ship, so you don’t sit next to somebody, you either sit in front of them or/and in the back of them.

I thought that Disney was the best amusement park that I’ve ever been to. All three rides were exciting in their own ways. Like for instance the Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster went upside down and really fast, Expedition Everest goes backwards and goes down big hills, and Space Mountain goes in circles. I think that most people who go on those rides come out and want to go back in as much as I did. And trust me, I wanted to go on those rides one thousand times. Disney World was a blast!

The Time of Shakespeare

The time of Shakespeare was a very gross environment. William Shakespeare wrote a lot of plays and some sonnets. Here are a few things that Shakespeare might have done when he lived.

Going to the dentist in Shakespeare's day was a painful and dangerous thing to do. If you had a cavity back then and you had to go to the dentist you could have had your tooth puled without Novocaine. And if you had the money, you could have paid for a new tooth donated by an animal or a dead person. And it was deadly to go to the dentist back then. You could lose a whole lot of your blood and die.

Another thing that was really gross back then was how people went to the bathroom. Since they didn't have toilets they usually used a bucket. After they did their business, they would throw the contents of the bucket out on the streets. Kings and Queens probably just used a hole in a room which led to a pipe which led to a stream or under could.

The last thing that was very gross in Shakespeare's time was that regular ordinary kids sicknesses were very deadly. If a kid fell off a tree and broke their leg, they would just have to lay in bed and hope that their leg healed. Because they didn't have children's Ibuprofen back then they only had about 10% chance of living.

Shakespeare lived in a really gross time. They didn't have toilets, they had horrible dentistry and they had no way of curing sick kids. I would have loved to have seen Shakespeare in real life but I would have hated to have lived in his environment.

Candy Cane Cookies

Candy Cane Cookies 
A special Holiday Treat 

I want to show you how to make candy cane cookies.

Here are your ingredients:

½ tube of refrigerated sugar cookie dough, softened,
2 table spoons of all purpose flower
½ tablespoon of peppermint extract
½ tablespoon of red food-coloring.


In a large mixing bowl, beat the cookie dough, and extract until it is smooth. Divide the dough in half; mix food coloring into one portion. Shape one teaspoon of white dough into a 6-in. rope. Shape one teaspoon of red dough into a 6-in. rope. Place ropes side by side; press together lightly and twist. Place an ungreased baking sheet; curve one end of the cookie to form the handle of the cane. Repeat with the remaining dough, placing cookies 2 in. apart on baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before carefully to wire racks. Yield: 3 dozen.
