The sinking of Titanic

The sinking of the RMS Titanic was one of the worst shipwrecks in history. When Titanic sank a lot of people died that night in the freezing cold water. Ironically, the Titanic was built so wonderfully that the people who built it thought that it would never sink at all.

The RMS Titanic was built in Belfast, Ireland by the Harland and Wolf shipyard for the White Star Line. It took over three thousand men three years to construct the ship. It cost 7.5 million dollars to build. Titanic was 882 feet long and 92 feet wide.  Features on the ship included a swimming pool, gymnasium, squash court, Turkish bath, the Veranda cafĂ©, and libraries for both First and Second class guests. Titanic was the most luxurious ship ever built at that time.

Titanic began her maiden voyage in Southampton, England and was headed to New York City, New York. The captain of Titanic was Edward John Smith. He was going to retire after this final voyage on Titanic.

On the night of April 14, 1912 Titanic struck an iceberg and sank in the early hours of April 15. It took two hours and forty minutes for the ship to sink beneath the ocean surface. There were only 706 survivors and 1, 517 passengers and crew died. One of the passengers, Molly Brown was the only known woman to row a rowboat to safety. Mrs. Straus another passenger refused to leave her husband Mr. Straus, so she stayed and died with him. The people who survived in lifeboats got saved by the RMS Carpathia a few hours after Titanic sank.

After RMS Titanic sank a lot of things changed. First they never let ships go in the area where they were re routed  to avoid ice burgs. Second all ships were required to carry enough lifeboats for everyone on board. Third regulations stated that ships could never turn off their radios.

The sinking of Titanic was a very tragic experience for those who were on it. Titanic was structured to be the finest ship in the world. RMS Titanic took less than three hours to sink to the bottom of the ocean. There was no other ship wrecks before or after April 15, 1912.

My new room

Over Christmas break my dad re painted my room, and now it looks awesome!

My mom helped me re organize it too, so now it looks like it can never be messed up.

And it's more fun to be in, and my friends think that I have the room of a princess.

Anne Of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables is my all time FAVORITE book. My favorite character is Anne. She is funny, creative, always curious and  proud.

She has red hair, sea blue eyes, and freckles all over her face. But that does not stop her from being... well Anne Shirley.

Anne's best friend is Diana. A beautiful black haired girl who spends most of her time either reading, or playing with Anne. And don' t forget Mirilla and Matthew, the ones who adopted Anne. Mirilla can be strict, but loves Anne with all her heart. Matthew is Mirilla's shy brother who practical spoils Anne.

Her book is written by L.M. Montgomery and will always be a favorite in the Agnew household.

The doll people

The doll people is one of my favorite books. I love Annabelle, she is courageous, curious, and adventurous. Just like me! My favorite part is when Annabelle meets a new friend, Tiffany, and they go on a adventure they'll never forget.

Narnia is a book series by C.S. Lewis of four children, (Peter, Susan, Edmond, and Lucy) who go through a wardrobe and find a magical land filled with Fawns, Senators, and talking animals. When the four children find a wardrobe, they are astonished to find...

I am going to let you find out the rest for yourself. But I liked it, and you will too!

The Pool

Ah the pool!

This was a while ago, but it's still our favorite pool. Every Summer we come out here and swim to our heart's content, and until we're tired and want to go home. Here is me, (top right) Noah, (top left) Silas, (bottom right) and little Judah (bottom left) with his little floatsies on. At the pool there is a slide, a 10 feet, a 5 feet, and a 3 feet for the little ones, it has pretty much everything. One year the heating in the pool was broken so it was always freezing cold, and I was the only one brave enough to swim in it. Ahh good times!

Jesus

Jesus

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He died on the cross to save ME can you believe that? He did that because He loves me so so very much. He preformed so many miracles that I can't even count. But I know that because it's all written in the Bible, the book that He made for us through prophets. Like David who wrote Psalms, and John who wrote Revelation. All that I am trying to say here is that because I believe that Jesus died on the cross because He loves us, and that I repent to Him all of my sins, I will go to heaven when I die. And not hell.
